After the brilliant Aperitif Marinaro in Covent Garden, this time we have the pleasure to be hosted in a brand new Italian venue in central London.
Ever wondered why "melanzane alla parmigiana" is one of Italy best kept secrets? Perhaps you tried it with a glass of Cannonau and you just loved it. Or rather, you may prefer a Montelpulciano d'Abruzzo as the perfect companion to this rich dish.
If, on the other hand, you are more of a Prosecco fan, then a light "fritto misto" with white bait and fried squid may be an option you would consider.
Now, extend this exercise to Carpaccio di Tonno, Pasta alla Napoletana, Paccheri al Ragu di Cinghiale, Pollo al Taleggio, Rana Pescatrice con Polenta Bramata, Quaqlie al forno, Tiramisu, Panettone affogato...and you have just an idea of what is in store as appetisers for the Aperitif, this Thursday, 19 November.
Set in an exquisite new Italian venue in Putney, this event will challenge your stamina on food...and social skills, as we are expecting a quite remarkable night, when Bellini, Rossini, Spritz and excellent Italian cuisine will be the true hosts of the night.
As always at our Aperitifs, appetisers and stuzzichini are free - you only pay for the drinks you order at the bar.
