The Aperitif in Islington proved to be an excellent night which saw over 250 people attending the exquisite Regina Margherita Italian Bar and Restaurant, in trendy Upper Street.

This event was also an opportunity to remind all the Italians and our foreign friends of the imminent "La Dolce Vita" Exhibition,  the largest fair in UK of Italian fashion, food, travel and property (26-29 March). Italians of London is official partner of La Dolce Vita and joined forces with the Dolce Vita team to introduce some of the main attractions of this important Exhibition.

The Aperitif was enchanted by the wonderful, friendly atmosphere, by the super-efficient (and busy!) staff, and by the sheer generosity of the Regina Margherita management which offered endless waves of delicious "stuzzichini", including different varieties of pasta, appetisers, sweets (in particular, rumors have it that the tiramisu was outstanding).

And then there was also a chance to make some guests happy with a raffle which awarded the following prizes:

- 2 Books, courtesy of the Italian Bookshop (congratulations to lucky winners Luisa Sala and Barbara Traversa)
- 2 tickets for the MARLENE KUNTZ Concert (congratulations to David Cohen)
2 tickets for the SMOKE Concert (congratulations to Flavia di Bartolomeo)

- A GORGEOUS designer Lamp from Artemide (congratulations to Pilar Fernandez)

A huge thank you to Sara from La Dolce Vita for her brilliant organisation of this event. And a super thank you to Laura and Sara, from the Made In Italy Group (owner of Regina Margherita), which assisted and collaborated magnificently to every detail of this very successful night

We are already working on the next Aperitif - this time in a fantastic Italian venue near Piccadilly
